2020 In Review and Photofick.com Launch

2020 was a trying year for many, however I want to highlight some big positives this past year. The biggest of them all is that my best friend said yes(!) to marrying me!! I could not have asked for a better soul mate. Shortly after our engagement, we moved to Arizona to start a new adventure exploring the Southwest. Navigating lock-downs is tricky, but Sara and I were able to experience new towns with eclectic people and visit areas we would not have had the chance to if we did not live nearby.  While exploring these new areas, we met some truly great individuals all of whom we created bonds that will last for years to come.  As this year comes to an end, reflecting on these positives reminds me that despite tumultuous events, there is always something to cherish.

As part of this new chapter in 2021, I am publishing my new photography website, www.photofick.com! It is a photography project I have been working on for a few months which started with inspiration from my Dad and Mark Kong. The goal for my website is to provide fine art quality photographs at an affordable price. Accompanying my photo store is a blog that I will use to share short trip memories paired with select photos.  As some of you may know, I recently started shooting film photography to augment my digital photography.  Within each blog, I will showcase a handful of film photos that I developed and scanned at home!

I hope you have a wonderful new year!
